The following maintenance schedule is for most Esprits. There are minor variations for different markets, but you can still use this as a general guideline. Keep in mind that Lotus Cars Ltd. recommends in the case of low usage vehicles where a 'mileage interval' service is not required in any 12 month period, a 'time period' service is performed as indicated.

 * Lotus Cars Limited advise that for peak engine performance the spark plugs can be replaced every 12,500 miles. However, plug changes to the Service Schedule will not effect or invalidate the emission performance of the engine.
